إجراء فحوصات دورية وشاملة للمواليد الجدد والأطفال الصغار للتحقق من صحتهم وتطورهم الجسدي الطبيعي وتوثيق ذلك بدقة

• IPV is short for Innovative and Powerful Vision (IPV), which originated in Syria in 2016. Beginning as a group of activists, IPV emerged in response to the community’s needs and has been active in Northeast Syria. • Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
• Examine sick children to determine their condition and reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history.
• Examine and treat disorders and diseases and refer the little patients to physicians of other disciplines when necessary.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments for pediatric patients.
• Inform patients and their families about available treatment options.
• Evaluate and update the medical history of pediatric patients.
• Perform non-invasive medical procedures when necessary.
• Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities.
• Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration.
• Advise parents on children’s diet, adherence to the vaccination plan, and disease preventive measures.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports or as required by the supervisor.
• Adhere to IPV standards and codes of conduct, accountability, integrity, and service.
• QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

1. A Bachelor of Medicine, Residency in pediatrics.
2. two years’ experience working full-time as a pediatrician.
3. The ability to keep updated on the latest medical technologies.
4. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
5. Active communication skills and the ability to effectively explain medical terms to patients
6. Good teamworking, leadership, and organizational skills.
7. Outstanding practical and diagnostic expertise.

تحديد أي مخاطر محتملة للحمل، وإحالة الأم إلى الأخصائيين المناسبين لضمان حمل آمن عند الحاجة.

توليد الأطفال، ومواصلة تقديم الرعاية للأم والطفل.

إدارة أي مضاعفات أثناء الحمل والولادة بمهارة.

المساعدة في إجراء فحوصات الفحص اللازمة بعد الولادة لضمان صحة مثالية للأم والطفل.

تقديم الدعم النفسي والمشورة للأم عند الحاجة، كما هو الحال في حالات الإجهاض، وتشوهات الأطفال حديثي الولادة ووفاتهم، واكتئاب ما بعد الولادة.

العمل على تقليل احتمالية تحريض المخاض، والولادة القيصرية، والولادة المبكرة، ومعدلات وفيات الرضع.

جعل الحمل وعملية الولادة تجربة إيجابية وممتعة إلى حد كبير من خلال الحد من التوتر والمضاعفات المرتبطة بالحمل.

تقديم المساعدة لطبيب أمراض النساء في العيادة.

Provide supervision, care, and guidance to women during pregnancy, labor, and after childbirth.
Identify any pregnancy risks, and refer the mother to the right specialists for a safe pregnancy as necessary.
Deliver babies, and continue to provide care for the mother and child.
Skillfully manage any complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
Assist in necessary screening tests after childbirth to ensure optimal health of the mother and child.
Provide emotional support and counseling to the mother whenever needed, such as in the case of miscarriage, neonatal abnormality and death, and postpartum depression.
Work to decrease the likelihood of induced labor, cesarean births, preterm births, and infant mortality rates.
Make pregnancy and the birthing process a largely positive and pleasant experience by reducing pregnancy-related stress and complications.
Provide assistance to a gynecologist at the clinic.
Prepare daily and monthly reports or as required by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

1. A midwifery degree
2. 2 years’ experience working full-time as a midwife
3. A caring and empathetic nature to provide mothers and babies with the emotional support they require.
4. Excellent decision-making skills to make quick and effective decisions in crises.
5. Emotional maturity and resilience to cope with and recover from problematic cases.
6. Strong team-working skills, as they often need to collaborate with other professionals.

يتولى المسؤول التعليمي مسؤولية وتنفيذ ومراقبة البرامج التعليمية التي تهدف إلى توفير فرص تعليمية جيدة للأطفال في شمال شرق سوريا على الموقع.

يركز هذا الدور على تحديد العوائق التي تحول دون التعليم، وتطوير بيئات تعليمية شاملة ويمكن الوصول إليها، وضمان دمج الأطفال الذين لا يذهبون إلى المدرسة حاليًا في نظام التعليم الرسمي أو برامج التعلم البديلة.

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The Supervisor Officer is responsible for, implementing, and monitoring education programs aimed at providing quality education opportunities for out-of-school children in Northeast Syria on the site. This role focuses on identifying barriers to education, developing inclusive and accessible learning environments, and ensuring that children who are not currently attending school are integrated into the formal education system or alternative learning programs. The Education Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, Education Supervisor, school's representatives, parents, and other stakeholders to promote the importance of education and to support the reintegration of out-of-school children into the education system.

JOB TITLE: Remedial Education Facilitator (English Teacher)  LOCATION: Northeast Syria - Deir ezzor -alkesrah district  CONTRACT LENGTH: 12   Months - Renewable  

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The purpose of a Remedial Education Teacher is to provide targeted educational support and interventions to students aged 10-18 who are struggling academically or have fallen behind in their studies. This role involves assessing individual learning needs, developing and delivering tailored remedial education programs, and addressing any barriers that hinder academic progress, with the goal of reintegrating students into their formal education process. The Remedial Program Facilitator fosters an inclusive and supportive learning environment, helping students build the foundational skills necessary for success in formal education. Additionally, the Remedial Program Facilitator collaborates with parents, caregivers, and the community to emphasize the importance of remedial education, offers psychosocial support, and ensures that every child has the opportunity to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Classroom Management

Parental and Community Engagement

2. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Education projects, preferably with children who are out of the formal education system. (non-formal Education)

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing logistics challenges in diverse and often resource-constrained settings.

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The Out-of-School Children (OoSC) Supervisor Officer is responsible for, implementing, and monitoring education programs aimed at providing quality education opportunities for out-of-school children in Northeast Syria on the site. This role focuses on identifying barriers to education, developing inclusive and accessible learning environments, and ensuring that children who are not currently attending school are integrated into the formal education system or alternative learning programs. The OoSC Education Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, OoSC Education Supervisor, school's representatives, parents, and other stakeholders to promote the importance of education and to support the reintegration of out-of-school children into the education system.

About IPV:  

IPV is short for Innovative and Powerful Vision (IPV), which originated in Syria in 2016. Beginning as a group of activists, IPV emerged in response to the community’s needs and has been active in Northeast Syria. IPV is a non-profit organization licensed in France, ERBIL, and Northeast Syria (NES). KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILTY: 

• Program Implementation

  1. Develop comprehensive action plans to address the educational needs of out-of-school children, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs for out-of-school children.
  3. Conduct needs assessments to identify the key barriers preventing school attendance.
  4. Collaborate with local education authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to design inclusive education strategies.
  5. Provide day-to-day oversight of all related educational facilities and its activities , ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
  6. Establish and maintain a monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress and impact of OoSC program in coordination with the MEAL officer.
  7. Train, and supervise qualified staff for program delivery.
  8. Track and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Prepare reports for stakeholders on program progress and impact.

  Coordination and Partnership:

  • Participate in education working groups meetings and other coordination meetings as required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local education authorities, and community leaders.
  • Advocate for the rights of out-of-school children to access quality education at local, national, and international levels.
  • Promote policies and practices that support the inclusion of out-of-school children in the education system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

1. Relevant Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields.
2. Practical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing education projects, in a humanitarian context.
3. Contextual Competence: Demonstrated experience working in complex and volatile environments, with documented results pertaining to educational initiatives.
4. Understanding of Protection Issues: Strong conceptual and practical understanding of protection issues in humanitarian settings, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and risks.

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The Education Supervisor for Out-of-School Children (OOSC) will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to provide quality learning opportunities for children who are not currently enrolled in formal schooling.  This role involves managing a team of teachers, developing educational daily plans , and liaising with community stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of education initiatives targeting OOSC.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILTY: 

• Supervision and Capacity Building:

  • Supervise a team of teachers and support staff involved in delivering educational services to OOSC.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and competencies of education personnel.
  • Provide training and support to teachers, school staff, and local education authorities on inclusive education practices and strategies for integrating out-of-school children.
  • Develop and distribute educational materials and resources to support the effective implementation of OoSC programs.

  Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Collect and analyze data on enrollment, attendance, and academic performance of out-of-school children.
  • Technical Supervision for the teaching process in IPV’s schools and centers.
  • Prepare regular reports on Education program activities, achievements, and challenges, and make recommendations for improvement.

  Curriculum Development and Adaptation:

  • Implement education initiatives specifically tailored to the needs of out-of-school children in NES.
  • Collaborate with educational program team and stakeholders to develop/implement age-appropriate and culturally relevant curriculum materials & Message for OOSC.
  • Adapt teaching and learning resources to meet the diverse learning needs and backgrounds of OOSC.

  Quality Assurance and Monitoring:

  • Establish quality standards and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness and impact of educational interventions for OOSC.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.

  Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to OOSC enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Prepare timely reports and updates on program activities, achievements, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

1. Bachelor's degree in education, Social Sciences, or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Education program management on the site , with a focus on out-of-school children or/and Non-formal education approaches .
3. Proficiency in curriculum implementation and educational resource management.
4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in supervising and supporting a diverse team.
5. Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders,
6. Sensitivity to cultural differences and experience working in multicultural settings.
7. The candidate should have the ability to navigate local interferences and complexities in the area, ensuring the smooth implementation of education programs and providing inclusive access to education for all children.
8. Fluency in Arabic; English and Kurdish proficiency is advantageous.
9. Dedication to promoting educational equity, social justice, and human rights.
10. proficiency in MS Office suite.
11. Specialized training in working with out-of-school children (OOSC) and teachers is desirable .

  Coordination and Partnership:

• إجادة التحدث والكتابة والقراءة والعرض باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية. معرفة اللغة الكردية ميزة.

About IPV:

IPV is short for Innovative and Powerful Vision (IPV), which originated in Syria in 2016. Beginning as a group of activists, IPV emerged in response to the community’s needs and has been active in Northeast Syria. IPV is a non-profit organization licensed in France, ERBIL, and Northeast Syria (NES). Our work encompasses the Education, Health & Nutrition, Protection, FSL and Early Recovery. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Grant Program Development and Management:

1. Assist the Finance Manager in developing, managing, delivering, and promoting the organization’s grants program, ensuring compliance with financial best practices.
2. Collaborate closely with program team to strategize and implement the grants stream, ensuring alignment with donor requirements.
3. Provide technical and logistical support during the grants review and partner selection process to ensure adherence to policies, financial guidelines, and donor/IPV budget requirements.

Grants Monitoring and Evaluation:

1. Contribute to developing and implementing a grant monitoring and evaluation framework, including baseline data collection, and creating M&E strategies and systems.
2. Conduct field visits as per the monitoring and evaluation plan.
3. Maintain regular communication with grantees to foster cooperative partnerships.
4. Develop and maintain a grantee database system for tracking cash flows, reporting requirements, audits, contract deliverables, and budget revisions.
5. Assist in preparing progress reports, annual reports, work plans, status reports, and other documents.

Financial Reporting and Management:

1. Participate in annual work planning and budgeting for the grants program.
2. Review grantees' financials, perform reconciliation of advances, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
3. Assist the Senior Finance Team in producing financial grant management reports.
4. Take and distribute minutes of Grants Committee meetings.
5. Oversee the contracting process for Grants consultants or service providers, from Terms of Reference to contract completion.
6. Facilitate grantee payments and finalize financial reports with finance teams.
7. Conduct financial capacity-building training for grantees, ensuring adherence to IPV and donors’ financial systems.
8. Issue bank letters and cheques, and release payments after reconciling advances.
9. Provide financial oversight and coaching to grantees.
10. Maintain and monitor the master payment tracker sheet.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 2 years of grants management experience, particularly with local or international NGOs. Or BSc/BA in relevant field /
2. Financial or business analysis skills.
3. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
5. Experience with complex database systems; experience with QuickBooks or comparable grants management software.
6. Ability to multitask and work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
7. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with partners, local NGOs, media, and local authorities.
8. Demonstrated success in financial management and program monitoring.
9. Proven ability in prioritization and managing competing tasks.
10. Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
11. Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and presenting in Arabic and English; Kurdish is recommended.
