Women owned Vegetable Farms

Project

The project’s objective was to prepare and provide 36 dunums of agricultural land with all the necessary resources and equipment for cultivating vegetables. This land was intended for use by 18 women, with each woman being allocated 2 dunums of land, based on their prior land ownership and experience in vegetable cultivation. The project was located in the Al-Kasra area in the western countryside of Dir-Ezzor province.

The achievements and impacts of this project were notable:

  • The eligible women who participated in the project were able to generate their income and establish a stable source of livelihood.
  • They also contributed to enriching the local markets with their produce, reducing the need for importing crops from outside sources.
