The restoration of vegetable processing workshops.

Project

The objective of this project was to mitigate post-harvest losses for farmers and offer affordable processed summer vegetables during the winter season.
 The accomplishments and impacts of this project include:

  • Enhancement of the production capacity of four vegetable processing workshops located in Abu-Hamam and Sosa.
  • Addressing two significant challenges : namely high post-harvest losses and the need for cost-effective vegetable inputs during the winter season.

  • created new livelihood opportunities, thereby contributing to the support of the local economy.
