IPV has launched the Third Phase of TVET (Technical Vocational Education and Training) center in Jazirat Al Buhmid – Dier-Ezzor

Introduction:
In a significant step towards improving the lives of conflict-affected vulnerable youths in Deir-Ezzor NES, a transformative Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) third phase project has been launched. The initiative aims to enhance the resilience of these youths by focusing on improving their basic academic skills and livelihood opportunities.
Project Overview:
Location: Deir-Ezzor governorate, Jazirat Al Buhmid
Key Objectives:
The primary goal of the project is to empower conflict-affected vulnerable youth through a multifaceted approach:
1. Quality Enhancement of TVET and Education:
Efforts to enhance the quality of TVET and education involve providing necessary materials and capacity building for teachers, trainers, and facilitators.
2. TVET Programs with Start-up Kits:
The project facilitates a comprehensive TVET program for participating youths, offering full support in the form of startup kits and Cash support to kickstart their initiatives.
3. Non-Formal Education for Women:
Recognizing the importance of gender inclusivity, the initiative includes the establishment of a non-formal education program tailored for women. This program targets literacy and numeracy skills and provides essential materials and textbooks.
4.Mental Health and Life Skills Enhancement

To ensure the holistic development of participants, the project incorporates a mental health and well-‎being/life skills program. This focuses on the overall personal growth of individuals enrolled in both ‎TVET and non-formal education programs.‎
5. Specialized Courses by professional trainers includes the following professions:
Hair and make up​
Electrical equipment technology​
Electrical Device repair technology​
Syrian pastry and baking​
Computer skills, mobile repair skills​
