Project

the project’s primary goal, is to enhance the educational access and quality for school-aged children, with a particular focus on those previously not in school and those requiring academic support. This comprehensive initiative involves renovating school buildings, establishing community centers, providing Non-Formal Education (NFE) and Accelerated Learning Programs (ALP) for out-of-school children, and offering remedial programs for students needing academic assistance. The project also includes teacher training, recreational activities, COVID-19 awareness campaigns, and distance learning efforts to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment for school-aged children.

The Services Provided :

  1. Restore and furnish the designated buildings.
  2. Establish two community centers to support educational activities.
  3. Deliver Non-Formal Education (NFE) and the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) for children who are not currently attending school. Additionally, provide remedial programs for children enrolled in formal education who require additional support to catch up with their age-appropriate academic level.
  4. Execute minor rehabilitation work in the specified schools to improve their learning environments.
  5. Enhance the skills and knowledge of 40 teachers and education personnel to effectively administer NFE programs, ALP, and remedial programs, ensuring the quality of education delivery.
  6. Arrange recreational activities for the students targeted by the project, promoting holistic development.
  7. Conduct COVID-19 awareness campaigns, which include information about gender-based violence (GBV) risks and essential messages.
  8. Engage with the identified communities through awareness-raising sessions to disseminate critical information.
  9. Provide distance learning options in response to the challenges posed by COVID-19. Additionally, implement hygiene improvement initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of the students within the project’s scope.
