The project’s primary objective is to promote access to education in emergency contexts within Deri-Ezzor, Syria, specifically in the Sur district. This initiative aims to enhance the resilience of children by establishing a safe and protective educational environment while providing essential life skills activities. In the Deri-Ezzor governorate, Sur sub-district, this project endeavors to create an atmosphere where children can access education safely

Services Provided :

  1. Safe School Environment Creation: This includes full rehabilitation work at four schools, providing school furniture, and ensuring safe access for students.
  2. Quality Enhancement of Education: The project focuses on improving the quality of both formal and non-formal education in the area by providing educational materials and conducting capacity-building for teachers.
  3. Non-Formal Education Program Establishment: The project establishes a comprehensive non-formal education program for Out-of-School Children (OOSC) and provides them with all necessary materials and textbooks.
  4. Nutritional Support: The project offers support to enhance the nutritional situation of students who are attending the non-formal education program, ensuring they have access to proper nourishment.
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Enhancement: Services are provided to promote the mental health and overall well-being of all students participating in both formal and non-formal education programs.
