Purpose of the Role / الهدف من الوظيفة

The PSS Facilitator is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating structured psychosocial support (PSS) activities for children, adolescents, and community members. The role ensures the creation of a safe and supportive environment that promotes resilience, emotional well-being, and positive coping mechanisms among affected populations.

 الميسر هوالمسؤول عن التخطيط، التنظيم، وتنفيذ أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي للأطفال والمراهقين وأفراد المجتمع. يضمن الدور توفير بيئة آمنة وداعمة تعزز المرونة والرفاهية النفسية والقدرة على التكيف الإيجابي لدى الفئات المستهدفة.

Key Responsibilities / المسؤوليات الرئيسية

Facilitate structured PSS activities (recreational, educational, life skills, awareness sessions).

تنفيذ أنشطة دعم نفسي اجتماعي منظمة (ترفيهية، تعليمية، مهارات حياتية، جلسات توعية)

Provide safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces for children, youth, and adults

توفير مساحات آمنة وشاملة وداعمة للأطفال والشباب والبالغين

Identify and refer vulnerable cases to specialized services as per referral pathways

تحديد الحالات الضعيفة وإحالتها إلى الخدمات المتخصصة حسب آلية الإحالة

Encourage participation of parents, caregivers, and community members

تشجيع مشاركة الأهالي، مقدمي الرعاية، وأفراد المجتمع في الأنشطة

Maintain records of attendance, activities, and reporting as required

الحفاظ على سجلات الحضور والأنشطة وإعداد التقارير المطلوبة

Support in developing/adapting PSS materials and curricula

المساهمة في تطوير/تكييف المواد والمناهج الخاصة بالدعم النفسي الاجتماعي

Respect child safeguarding and protection principles at all times

الالتزام بمبادئ حماية الطفل وسياسات صون الطفل في جميع الأوقات

Report regularly to the supervisor with updates and feedback

رفع تقارير دورية للمشرف تتضمن التحديثات والملاحظات

Qualifications & Requirements / المؤهلات والمتطلبات

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, education, or related field (preferred)

شهادة جامعية في علم النفس أو العلوم الاجتماعية أو التربية أو مجال ذي صلة (مفضل)

1–2 years’ experience in psychosocial support, child protection, education, or community work.

خبرة سنتين على الأقل في الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، حماية الطفل، التعليم، أو العمل المجتمعي

Experience in facilitation and group work with children and youth.

خبرة في تيسير وإدارة المجموعات مع الأطفال والشباب

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

مهارات قوية في التواصل والتعامل مع الآخرين وحل المشكلات

Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding principles.

معرفة بمبادئ حماية وصون الطفل

Previous NGO/INGO experience is an asset.

Fluency in [Arabic/Kurdish/English – depending on context]
