الهدف من الوظيفة

The Science Teacher (Physics & Chemistry) is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both physics and chemistry to students in grades 5–12. The teacher will create engaging lessons, lead laboratory activities, and support students in developing strong scientific reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and practical investigation skills. The role requires strong subject knowledge in both disciplines and the ability to manage safe laboratory environments.

يُعنى مُدرّس العلوم (الفيزياء والكيمياء) بتقديم تعليم عالي الجودة في الفيزياء والكيمياء لطلاب الصفوف من الخامس إلى الثاني عشر. ويقوم المُدرّس بإعداد دروس شيّقة، وقيادة الأنشطة المخبرية، ودعم الطلاب في تنمية مهارات التفكير العلمي، وحل المشكلات، والبحث العملي. ويتطلب هذا الدور إلمامًا واسعًا بالمادة في كلا التخصصين، والقدرة على إدارة بيئات مخبرية آمنة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

• Deliver structured lessons in both physics and chemistry across middle and high school levels.
• Teach core topics such as motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, matter, atomic structure, bonding, reactions, and introductory organic chemistry.
• Conduct hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and inquiry‑based learning activities.
• Integrate digital tools and simulations to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Clearly communicate learning objectives and support diverse learning needs.
• Develop lesson plans, unit plans, and pacing guides.
• Prepare assessments (quizzes, exams, projects, oral assessments).
• Provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate gradebooks and student progress records.
• Establish a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Apply effective classroom management strategies.
• Support students’ academic and emotional needs.
• Participate in science department meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary projects and STEM initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Uphold child safeguarding, protection, and professional ethics.
• Support extracurricular science activities such as fairs, competitions, and clubs.

متطلبات الوظيفة

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, Chemistry, Science Education, or a closely related field.
• Teaching certification or professional training preferred.

Experience | الخبرة

• Minimum of 2–3 years teaching Physics and Chemistry to middle or high school students.
• Experience with curriculum development is an asset.
• Previous work with NGOs or community‑based structures is an asset.

Other Requirements | متطلبات أخرى

• Strong knowledge of INEE standards, safeguarding, and PSEA principles.

• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
