الهدف من الوظيفة

The Remedial Education Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and quality of remedial learning activities for children who are below grade level or at risk of dropping out. The Supervisor provides technical support to remedial teachers, ensures adherence to curriculum guidelines, strengthens teaching quality, and monitors learners’ progress through continuous assessments. The position plays a key role in improving foundational literacy, numeracy, and essential learning skills.

يتولى مشرف التعليم العلاجي مسؤولية الإشراف على تخطيط وتنفيذ وجودة أنشطة التعلم العلاجي للأطفال الذين هم دون المستوى الدراسي المطلوب أو المعرضين لخطر التسرب من المدرسة. يقدم المشرف الدعم الفني لمعلمي التعليم العلاجي، ويضمن الالتزام بإرشادات المناهج الدراسية، ويعزز جودة التدريس، ويتابع تقدم المتعلمين من خلال التقييمات المستمرة. ويلعب هذا المنصب دورًا محوريًا في تحسين مهارات القراءة والكتابة والحساب الأساسية، بالإضافة إلى مهارات التعلم الضرورية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

• Oversee day‑to‑day remedial education activities in learning centers or schools.
• Supervise and mentor remedial teachers to ensure high‑quality instruction.
• Ensure all remedial classes follow approved curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching methodologies.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure classes are inclusive and accessible for children with disabilities or learning difficulties.
• Facilitate ongoing coaching sessions, refresher training, and capacity‑building workshops for tutors.
• Support teachers in developing lesson plans, teaching aids, and differentiated learning strategies.
• Promote learner‑centered, safe, and positive teaching approaches.
• Ensure teachers maintain accurate learner records, assessments, and attendance sheets.
• Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments to track learning progress.
• Analyze learner performance data to identify gaps and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Ensure timely collection of monitoring tools (attendance, progress trackers, teacher reports).
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Education Officer/Coordinator.
• Support MEAL teams during monitoring visits, FGDs, and data verification exercises.
• Engage parents/guardians to support learners’ attendance, homework, and learning routines.
• Coordinate with school head teachers, community leaders, and partners to strengthen participation in remedial learning.
• Conduct awareness sessions on the importance of foundational learning and learner support at home.
• Ensure learning environments are safe, inclusive, and aligned with child safeguarding standards.
• Identify vulnerable learners in need of additional support and refer them through established referral pathways.
• Ensure teachers adhere to the organization’s Code of Conduct, PSEA, and CP policies.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.

Master’s degree in Education or a related field is an advantage.

Training in Education in Emergencies (EiE), Child Protection, Inclusive Education, or Project Management is desirable.

Experience | الخبرة

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in education programs, preferably with NGOs or humanitarian organizations.

Experience in supervising education staff and managing education activities.

Experience in coordinating with schools, education authorities, and community stakeholders.

Experience in monitoring, reporting, data collection, and project implementation.

Experience working with vulnerable children, adolescents, and children with disabilities is preferred.

Other Requirements | متطلبات أخرى

• Strong knowledge of INEE standards, safeguarding, and PSEA principles.

• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
